Cladded Container Garden Room

Description

This 20ft Cladded Container Garden Room is based on a standard one-trip 20ft x 8ft shipping container and has been converted by our specialist in-house team for use as a home office, garden room or hobby room. 

One long side of a standard 20ft x 8ft one trip shipping container has been partially removed and fitted with full height glazed sliding patio door. 

The container is externally cladded with Siberian Larch 45x19mm battens fitted vertically in a hit & miss pattern.

Fitted studwork and insulated with 50mm thick Dritherm Earthwool insulation to the walls and 100mm thick Dritherm loft insulation to the ceiling, boarded out with 11mm OSB with bespoke panelling. The floor is overlaid and fitted with laminate panels in a graphite teak finish. 

Electrically the unit is equipped with surface mounted electrics and wiring fitted in galvanised trunking adding an industrial finish. The electrical specification includes 3no led pendent lights and 4no double 13A sockets.
